Imagine a venue perched on the waters of East Lake Toho, a gentle breeze carrying the sounds of laughter along the edge of the lake. As your guests start to arrive they are greeted by the sounds of native birds and rustling trees while they take in the sight of a two story riverboat sitting serenly on the lake. Hosting a wedding aboard a riverboat is a unique experience for you and your guests. We recently had the honor of hosting the wedding of Mr. & Mrs. Rosa aboard The Pearl.
This initimate wedding started with guests mingling on the upper deck while our bride and groom took photos. Guests were able to sit and relax in the breeze as they awaited The Pearl taking off for the sunset wedding. Once we were past the weedline of the marina, the wedding fun began! Mr. & Mrs. Rosa opted to have Captain Stitch officiate their wedding as we glided through East Lake Toho. Once the happy couple officially said "I do!" everyone headed downstairs for a refreshing drink and light snacks off of the charcuterie board.
Dinner was served and dancing ensued shortly after with our upper deck being trasformed into a dance floor as guests enjoyed dinner. With the sun setting below the horizon guests danced under the open sky on the lake. Cake cutting and desserts were brought out for guests to enjoy for the remaining part of the cruise.
Hosting an intimate wedding aboard The Pearl is a unique way to bring your guests together for an experience. At Toho Riverboat Adventures we can help you plan your wedding and assist with catering options as well. If you are intersted in hosting a wedding or private event on The Pearl please contact us so we can send you our event guide.
